Holding the student event of Noor Student Competition is extended
Professor Yaghi Noor Student Competition is held to strengthen the scientific motivations in the younger generation interested in knowledge and technology in the Islamic world. The time of the event was extended due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the Vice-Presidency and affiliated organizations have aimed to hold special events for the youth and students to make their connection with various scientific areas deeper than before. This promotional policy is followed up in the form of different events and competitions in the current world.
According to the announcement of the Mustafa Prize, the Noor Student Competition will be postponed due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
Strengthening motivation in adolescents and students in the Islamic world and helping to develop brilliant talents are among the goals for this event. According to those involved in the incident, students have until August 21st, 2020 to submit their works.
In addition to extending the deadline of the event, special conditions are considered for this round of the competition due to the outbreak of corona. In order to observe the health principles announced by the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health regarding the observance of social distance and avoidance of communities, from the beginning of June 2020, family registration will be possible for students and any student can participate in the competition at home with the participation of family members.
Another condition of this course is that in the scientific guide section that is introduced in the competition site, various scientific ideas related to the subject of the competition, considering the possibility of running at home, are continuously and daily introduced to the participating students.
